The Performances
Carving the Breath of Stone
Presented by Pallavi Nagesha Friday, March 13th | 6:30 PM | Tickets
What happens when the cold precision of stone meets the warmth of human breath? In this solo work, Pallavi Nagesha explores the soul of the Shilabalike—the iconic bracket figures of ancient Indian temples. Inspired by the profound poetry of D.V. Gundappa (DVG), Pallavi moves beyond the physical form of these sculptures to explore the stories, emotions, and hidden lives imagined by the poet. Set to a soul-stirring musical score, this performance is a dialogue between the permanence of stone and the fluidity of dance.
Sthiti-Gati
Presented by Revati Masilamani Sunday, March 15th | 5:30 PM |Tickets
Experience a compelling exploration of the dualities that define our existence: Stillness (Sthiti) and Movement (Gati). In this presentation, Revati Masilamani delves into the philosophical and physical landscapes of form and flow. Through nuanced movement and expressive storytelling, Sthiti-Gati invites the audience to contemplate the balance between being and becoming, finding the rhythm that exists within silence and the stability within change.
